  to Essence of Spirit, Belfast’s first centre dedicated to promoting the Spiritual way of life, thinking and mediumistic unfoldment.

Essence of Spirit was first established in April, 2008 in Holywood, Co Down with local mediums spreading the word of Spirit to a small room packed to it's capacity of thirty people.

After several months it became necessary to seek new premises to accommodate the ever growing interest and so Essence Of Spirit found its new home within the Indian Community Centre, Clifton Street, Belfast. This also was to see attendances peak a maximum capacity of two hundred and as a result several local charities benefited in excess of £1000. With new faces now on board, a new direction and name was sought in the form of The Belfast Spiritualist Alliance.

As Essence of Spirit was the catalyst for much of the public mediumship in Belfast, it was decided to breathe new life into Essence of Spirit and re-launch it with new ideas and way of thinking from the world of spirit.

Essence of Spirit places an importance on the spirit within,our real-self, that part of us that has never died but is eternal. Its only when we come to know our real-self that we come to know God. Essence of Spirit doesn’t conform to any specific religion or dogma but hopes only to bring new light and a new way of thinking to those who seek truth. It is within this context that it encourages individuality and embraces all aspects of the Spiritual way of life.
